Replacing Incandescent House Lighting in Secondary School Theatres with LED Lighting

We’ve embarked on a program to replace over 70 incandescent house light fixtures above the seating areas in each of our larger school theatres (North Delta, Seaquam, Equinox (South Delta) and Genesis (Delta).  Each completed project will see roughly a 13 kWh savings in electrical costs per year, which equates to over $3,000/year savings in electricity costs.  The cost to do each theatre is approximately $8,300 after rebates, meaning we have a payback of less than three years!
