The District Emergency Preparedness Committee, comprising representatives from the Board, Superintendent’s Office, all employee groups, District Parent Advisory Council and other District departments, meets regularly to discuss the District Emergency Plan, its implementation and any improvements.
School and other District Sites generally consist of the Principal/Site Manager (or designate), staff members, custodian, and in schools specifically, parents and students. The Emergency Planning Committees should be struck prior to the start of the school year and meet regularly throughout the course of the school year.
